Located in Southern Kodagu, a hilly district of coffee & spice plantations in the Indian State of Karnataka, ‘The Tamara Coorg’ has been conceptualized as a hymn to the beauty of the Western Ghat’s Mountains. Revealed to the world in 2012,‘The Tamara Coorg’ presides over an estate of 180.02 acres producing Coffee, Cardamom, Pepper, Honey and mixed woodlands on the ragged slopes of these beautifully landscaped hills. ‘The Tamara Coorg” provides guests with meeting & leisure environment, away from the stress and noise of urban life. It offers 56 awe inspiring and luxurious cottages built on stilts raised from the steep slope. Each cottage offers a private space on the Hillside with a unique elevation and views over the magnificent valley. All guest cottages offer a bouquet of modern luxuries such as a king sized bed, a living space with coffee table doubling as chess board, high-definition satellite television, a private open deck with lounger and a beautifully appointed bathroom. Our Dining and Conference Spaces are built on bridge blocks right above a valley with a natural stream. The Conference space can accommodate groups of upto 60 participants. The multi-purpose bridge block has comfortable seating, natural lighting and controlled air conditioning along with high quality audio-visual equipment, a recreation area with art tables and a giant high definition screen.
