In Chowara at the south coast of Kerala near the popular beach town Kovalam, The two spacious sister resorts are perched on a hill overlooking the Arabian Sea. The cottages and Kerala wood houses built in the traditional style lay scattered in the property; their architecture fits perfectly to the tropical landscape of Kerala with numerous palm trees. Criss cross up and down on the small footpaths connecting the cottages. At the foot of the hill find the kilometre long public beach on the Arabian Sea (4 – 8 minutes by walk).

Both resorts have a long standing experience in Ayurveda. Each one has its own big Ayurveda centre with a large number of qualified Ayurveda ladies and male doctors as well as 70 therapists, diversified in Ayurveda revitalisation, purification and selective Ayurveda treatments. After a careful analysis of the patient data and detailed examination the Ayurveda doctor will compose an individual treatment and menu plan for each patient. More than 350 medicinal herbs grow in the own botanical garden. The house-own manufactory processes the oil and tinctures for the guests, stored in an eco-friendly way. All Ayurveda products are fabricated with the utmost carefulness under strict control by highly qualified doctors. Old traditional recipes handed down from one generation to other provide the basis for the production. In 2002 the resort achieved the award for the best Ayurvedic herbal garden of India. Guided tours with Ayurvedic experts can be organised for interested guests.
